A lot of men may not want to admit it, but even as we’re feeling better than ever, we’re bothered when our bodies and minds tell us one thing, and our faces tell the world another. That’s how I felt when I first became curious about BOTOX® Cosmetic (Botulinum Toxin Type A).
Mark Spitz

Dear Friends,

I’ve always worked hard to be the best I can be, but like so many people, I’m finding that how I go about this at age 58 is different from how I approached it when I was 28.

At the peak of my athletic career, I measured my personal best in how far I could push myself. That’s how I set 33 world records as a competitive swimmer between 1967 and 1972 and won nine gold medals.

I’ve always been motivated to work towards my personal best in all aspects of my life – my attitude, my mind and my body. Today, I’m a husband and father of two, and I’m still giving life everything I’ve got. So achieving my personal best means something different to me now. I maintain a healthy diet, exercise regularly - and yes, I still do swim. I take care of my personal appearance and for me, achieving my personal best means feeling great about my whole self - mentally and physically.

Just as the science of sports has evolved tremendously over the last few decades, so has the science of health and well-being as we age. There are more options than ever before, and it is up to us to learn about them and make well-informed treatment decisions based on the best available information, in consultation with an aesthetic-specialty physician.

As part of my commitment to maintaining my personal best, I decided to speak with my physician about incorporating BOTOX® Cosmetic into my skincare routine. I’m part of the Your Personal Best campaign to encourage others to never quit striving for their personal best, in their own unique and individual way.

All the best to you, Mark Spitz
